All I Feel is Love March 2, 2015
Dear Everyone,
#transferday
So, my friends, this is Tom. Wow. He is amazing. If I was born in England this would be my life! He is majoring in music, he sings amazingly, he's in a band, he plays in the orchestra. Wow. We were even born on the same day! It's crazy.. but we went to the fireside last night and had a good time. He's great!
My mission is changing my whole life.
I am soo grateful for everything that God has given to me. I feel that
God knows every single detail of my life and so sweetly and lovingly
helps me feel His love for me through small and simple things. I just
wish I could explain in detail the kind of experiences that I have had
on my mission that have given me the utmost assurance that there is so
much more to this life than we can see with our natural eye.
Elder
Robinson and I are having a ton of fun together! It's like we've been
friends forever.. I seriously love serving with him!!! We have had some
major miracles.. just the other day we met a man named Omar and decided
to go and see him on Saturday morning.. unfortunately we couldn't ring
his flat because it was like a refuge house but they passed on a
pamphlet for us.. BUT we decided to street contact in the area and we
met this woman who was from the same country as him!! She is amazing.
She is from Eritrea and she worked very hard to be able to graduate from
a university in New York with a PhD in Chemistry! Wow. She's amazing.
She has really strong faith in Christ and after speaking with her about
the church we asked her if there was anyone we could pray for and then
she just broke down crying and told us about her nephew who has been
sent to prison and how hard the conditions were going to be be for him.
We assured her that we'd pray for him and her and that God would take
care of her family! It was so wonderful.. She expressed her gratitude in
meeting with us and it was just wonderful.

The mission is like having a giant family! February 16, 2015
Well - this is the gang. Elder Greenhalgh, Waetchler, Cacciatore, Humpherys, Robinson, and Werner. Wow. We have sooo much fun together! (Notice my glasses.. woo.) The mission is like having a giant family. It's so fun to get to know the other missionaries. The Zone has had such an incredible week this week. We had many many miracles and everyones faith is just boosting. We are working harder than ever.
We
had a great experience this week! We have been meeting with this man
for a while know.. We've seen about 4 times since October. He is just so
busy but he's pretty interested. He is a DJ and just totally wants to
change his life around and give his daughter a good life. Well at our
next lesson SUPRISE he brought his girlfriend and she is sooo prepared!
They had great questions and really loved the chapel. So we'll hope to
see more progress with them.
This picture. With my creep eye. ;) Woo!
This is the great and spacious building that we went to. Wow. It was sooo beautiful. Love me some culture.
We did a "blitz" on Crosby the other day. Invited some missionaries down
and just powerhoused found for 3 hours! It was a blast!!! We saw many
miracles and just had a smashing time!
We are the EMM!! The best mission ever.. I just love this place and I love being a missionary. We had a great week this week. I wish this transfer was longer!
We had a mission activity this week and my companions had to bear the departing testimony :( It's so sad! Life is moving too quickly.. Not sure how I feel about that at the moment. I love every second of my mission!! I don't have to many seconds left!
Love,
Elder Humpherys
Richly Blessed February 9, 2015
Wow. This week has been amazing. We had 9 wonderful people come to
church on Sunday! So amazing. That's the most I've ever had on my
mission. Our area is just exploding all over the place. I really hope we
can keep up with it to be honest! It's going great!
I popped a blood vessel! haha. I look sooo crazy. It spread a bit more today but it's great! haha. I just love it :)
Me and Elder Werner. Amazing German missionary. Love him to death.
haha. So we had this great tea appointment at a members house and the food was SO delicious!!
Then
we had an appointment at a friends house and SURPRISE.. He fed us SOO
much. It was a big African meal.. haha. We were so full we had to make
ourselves throw up.. it was the only way to sure relief! But.. we are
okay now. :) but.. it made this happen to my eye!!!

and Elder Greenhalgh is just all around amazing! I have learned so much
from him and I am very grateful President paired us together. I have
learned some important things from him! We have too much fun.

We
have talked to so many people this week. I am soooo tired haha. Elder
